2016 Polls

In looking at the 2020 polls for the U.S. election, I’m always haunted by the polling failure of 2016, when, in the months leading up to the election, the polls that looked like this

and the odds that looked like this

turned into odds that looked, on election night, like this

and leave me wondering whether our current polls that look like this

and our current odds that look like this

might do the same.
